Humanity

Humanity the trivial species
Do we seek to destroy
Or do we seek to create

Are we capable of innovation
The thoughts that make us unique
Or was innovation lost to time

Always humans think
But what comes of the thoughts
Nothing we are thinkers now

Questions go unanswered
While humanity contemplates
That which is trivial

So has the time come for
The fall of humanity
Or the time of new innovation

Only time will tell
If humanity has found its
Long lost soul

The heart of humanity
Founded not upon hate
But upon the principles
Of love
Of hope
Of innovation

Shall the heart start once again
Or come crashing down
In a nuclear blunder
