Free

In the flower we were one,
But wind enchanted me,
Instead of being the same color,
I let the breeze embrace me

I couldn't be like everybody else,
Because i wanted to be free,
I couldn't sit within the same calyx,
There was just too much to see

Above cities, oceans, forests,
Floated over comeliness with ease,
I sailed gayly by the stars,
While careening in the breeze

They say that I am lost,
Just a petal in the wind,
But I know that I am free,
Free from the stem I was in
