Forgive

I fold my hands behind my back...And slowly pace
the floor...I stop at every window and I listen at
the door...I gaze into the fireplace and stir the
ashes gray...But all that I can find is just a dream
of yesterday...We have made mistakes...And we have
both been wrong...But somehow we have always had
the grace to get along...And that is the important
thing when all is said and done...So let us go
through life and give...The sacrifice it takes...
And let us always be prepared...To overlook mistakes.
