Forgetting The Mistake

I think I am dying.
In this night, feeling sick
and not able to mend it.
Thoughts of the Galillean inward,
How in his last hour,
everything good was forgotten.
One friend giving him up,
The other just giving up.
I think somewhere,
he made a mistake.
Maybe only one.
One is all it takes
for the inner circle
to turn it's back
and forget you ever
exsisted at all.
Still one hung himself.
One hung on a cross of his own.
Was their mistake forgetting?
