Forget the Fears

Forget the Fears
By: JL

Why are you in so much fear
of sweet, innocent princess panda bear?
Did you know that she is just as scared as you
yet you runaway as if you have a curfew
or you go crazy because you are too old
to be patient and decide to be bold and cold.

I am not depressed only stressed
and is it a crime I am repressed
with a smile on the outside
and have my boyfriend to confide?
Instead of you, a former friend,
who cannot see how I bend.

If you did not realize, I do not like
to blend with the crowd because I hike
up moving mountains through the rain
and filter the evils and bad with a drain
as I organize my thinking
and thank you for helping me from sinking.

Life is a puzzle that has yet to be solved
and it is quite strange to finally be involved
in a relationship at twenty-one
and all that matters are the smiles and fun
with my Jersey boy who brings me joys
and wants me to help employs
himself to a better job
as he helps me stop my sob.
