For Them All

A heart crumbles to the deepest abyss,
Your name mentioned from other lips,
An old book room holds the glow of hair,
Sharing bubble gum, treats, balloons in air.
Bringing intrigue for lovers who share
Years later, how do we bare
Tormentment and suspense, oh how slow
Your love is missed as others grow.
Friend or lover, still to know.
Each shot in the dark flashes their bow
Winter will come as it has gone
One more wonderful moment lingers on.
The battle for beauty an easy win
Will time become friend, again?
Captured once with the wind
The loss of one will never end.
Waiting for a heart to crumble or blend,
No chance, wait until the end.
