Enigma

The Cherry Trees in full bloom
catch my eye
as I travel the boulevard
on my daily hunter - gathering pursuits.
The air carries the fragrance across town,
and I revel in Spring.
My tasks done, I come home to the feast,
and turn on the TV to The Bombing of Bagdad.
It's a curious world
here in the 21st Century.
