Dream Unfold

One of Martin Luther King's dreams was to see
The day that we were all able to be
Free to sit with one another
Free to be treated with fairness and equality like so many others
Free from all the bondage that disparaged our past generations
Free to celebrate as one people in this great nation
On this momentous day as Obama takes his destined place
We watch the dream unfold joined together as one race
What a blessed day it is to see
That yes Martin's dreams are becoming a reality
