Burried Treasure

Amazing to be seen.
But still invisible to the world.
caughht up in what seems to be an emotional swirl.
A heart being seen through a shell of crystal glass.
But who is looking?
Who is seeing?
In a whispered answer, no one.
Clear, solidly transparent, and clearly invisible.
Forcing myself to be seen anyways.
A covered piece of crystal glass, lying in the middle of the track, covered by smoke in a path.
I hold with constant hope and belief.
Someday I will be seen.
Through the smoke and mirrors, hurt, pain, and silence.
Undenyably visible.
I am an exibit, that can be seen from all angles and platforms.
But all I can do is wait.
Angry againgst time, forced to be hesitant.
Invisible until someone is smart or lucky enough to see me.
A treasure hidden in a world of dirt and grit.
I am walked over, it hurts, this I admit.
For this blessing, I will wait for it.
Someone will find a diamond hidden in a pile of thick, hardened mud.
So there I wait.
Not by choice, but bound by force.
Invisible to the world.
Tangled in an emotional swirl.
Hurt because a talent is next toi being missing.
Talent thats become invisible and dismissed.
Forcing myself to be seen anyways.
A brain and heart guarded by a durable sheet of crystal glass.
In the middle of a track, covered by a sheet of smoke, on a dark lonely path.
I plead, after you read this, stop pass.

{Contact Information mfisher20019@gmail.com (202) 903-5527}Im Michael, 26 year old Washington DC native new to the poetry community. Initially i was scared to try the poetry thing for public view....people and decisions that have been made, make it somewhat difficult to step out on a limb and express such talent. Typically my writing come from internal thoughts and feelings towards certain situations. My completed pieces of work are typically finished within minutes of the idea of the piece...I hope everyone can find something enjoyable about my work.. I welcome advise in reference to my work, as this is a new venture for me. Thanks to all my readers more…
