Branding time

Them dsmn cows woke me up awful early,
with their bawling and stamping about.
If the rest of the crew wasn't sleeping,
I'd give those old cows quite a shout.
I like to wake up kinda slowly,
a feeling and smelling the land.
If them cows wake me once again early,
I"ll shoot 4 or 5 where they stand!!!!!
It's a hardlife enough for a cowboy,

A kinda foreboding falls on you,
when your day kinda starts with a jerk.
