Blue Mother

I must rid you now of me
I cant take anymore
time for a cleansing

I'll burp and sneeze
quake and weeze
and shake you off
little pests
like fleas..

I've done it before
It'll happen again
respect taken
none given
nature's laws for the unforgiven

you were given clues
but your arrogance abounded
made your own laws
so many unfounded

I showed you
you refused to see
the messege for all
in plain sight
the messege in water
in air and soil
in plants and rocks
and beasts and birds
and bugs and things
the messege
in sight and sound
and smell
in tides and rain
and frogs in a well
can sense more than you
without much to see
and little else to do

I think somewhere
there is some desolate world
where you could go
and play God with youselves
I suppose

and as you tink
your little flint
upon a rock
and feel your cold feet
with no wool
for a sock

you'll remember the planet
you held so dear
as you look for a flint
to sharpen your spear
