If you blame family or the hand you were dealt,
you keep limitations and choices will melt.

If you blame chef-d'oeuvre or steelyards of your weight,
you keep bottom ballast and choices will fate.

If you blame narcotics or alcohol you drink,
you keep hazy thinking and choices will sink.

If you blame cigarettes or enticements to smoke,
you keep unhealthy lungs and choices will choke.

If you blame instructors or the schools you attend,
you keep stupidity and choices will end.

If you blame revolvers or projectiles they shoot,
you keep wrongful targets and choices will boot.

If you blame anyone or anything at all,
