I am awed by the awful: glorification or fright,
veneration or offal,
laudable or blight?

I wonder at the wonder: curiosity or doubt,
miraculous or blunder,
profane or devout?

I am charmed by the charming: impressionable or cloyed,
sustentation or armor,
enchantment or ployed?

I marvel at the marvelous: incredulity or faith,
carnality or spectral,
vaporous or wraith?

I am stunned by the stunning: extraordinary or odd,
mysterious or bizarre,
eccentric or clod?
