An unfair world (Updated)

Life is really unfair
He dreamt of marrying one day
He thought there would be a moment in his life
When he would be able to buy his mother a house
He wished he could have children and watch them grow
His goal as a student was to finish college
And make his parents proud of him
He envied his grandparents for having such a long life

He couldn't escape those feelings
When the doctor told him he only had 7 months to live
He cried none stop
But still, had no power over his life

Why
Why did it have to be him
He did nothing wrong
He did everything he was asked by his creator

And yet, his leaf was drying very quickly
The tree of life rejected it
And all he could do, was wait for it to fall
Life is really unfair
