An Impromptu Moment

A look, a glance, a spoken word,
The scent of life flowing in the air,
Love is no longer just a word spoken,
And impromptu moment is here.
A smile that lifts both their faces,
A lively conversation that feels right.
They hear every word that they speak,
Next thing they know it is now night.
Dinner for two as they hold hands,
A little dancing to the music playing,
They sit and eat under burning bright,
Listening to the words they are saying.
He walks her home and holds her hand,
A kiss goodnight and a long “Goodbye.”
Tomorrow they will meet once more,
Again he will kiss her as she opens the door.
This impromptu moment turned out to be love,
Just another moment in time when,
Two hearts meet and become intertwined.
A story like this, needs to be shared,
For those that find love in the night,
When it comes you will know it is true.
So look around and seize the day, because,
You just might miss an impromptu moment.
