Alphabets
Our alphabets fell asleep
Me and you sat by their side-
Silent, sad and exhausted.
We still had our senses to feel
We saw the shades of grey,
We heard the noise of discord
We smelled the scent of melancholy
We tasted bitter sweet,
And we felt cold, very cold -
So we embraced each other.
At that moment –
Alphabets woke up one by one
And we began our poems and songs
To flow without end.
