Almost Aneorexic

She did it all for him
But he didn't realize
That she had become so slim
And that she had dropped a size

She'd done it becuase she thought
It would make him acknowledge
Her well thought out plot
But he didn't have the knowledge

But how could she blame him
He had no clue
She though he'd love her if she was slim
But that wasn't true

Breakfast skipped
Lunch barely touched
She tried to stop, but slipped
She was left untouched

But she worked up the courage
To tell him her secret
All he did was encourage
And she knew he would keep it

She confessed to him her love
And he was just shocked
But he didn't shove
And he wouldn't mock

He told her it wasn't meant to be
And as hard as it may seem
That had made her oh so happy
It was better than her dreams

She'll always love him, there is no doubt
One rejection won't leave her out
Now she relies on him through it all
And he's ready to catch her when she falls
