All Meaning Is Within

What purposes, or what intentions,
Or random impulses or accidents;
What synchronicity, or suspension
Of doubt or denial is any evidence?

That you come upon these words,
Unknown entity has hereby written;
In nebulous realms now to be heard,
With no guarantee of any attention

Is it a bottled message cast on seas,
Of open exclusions n' idle reflection;
Or an abstract arrow aimed at thee,
Is decision resting in your conviction.

Only you decide what has meaning,
Determined from within perception;
Your perception renders it deeming,
Or not, the rest is unseen election.

Tracy Bollinger

Always liked to write and have written poems periodically over the years. I've never shared them withanyone except for immediate family. Decided to take the plunge and put some out 'there'. But bearwith me, I don't really know what I'm doing. This is therapy of sorts and I hope to let go of the need to rhyme. It's a mental condition.
