All Aboard (2003)

Dear Almighty, as we sit to quench
our parched mouths and ease
our stomachs' loneliness
may You allow us to relax
and enjoy these pleasures before us
and then when finished have the
strength to rise with the hope
that all people from around the world
will someday be able to share
a feast among friends
which welcomes peace to the soul
and nourishment to the body
where talk is boundless, no morsel is left untouched,
all hearts are softened,
and the expectation of a reunion fills the room.

May Your presence always fill
and bless this realm,
and Your essence in all ways be felt
in every bite and drink,
 always and forever.
