Acid Queen

I will never hold you,
I could never come to,
Realise the world again,
See you as just a friend,
Of all the things I have said,
Only a few I have meant,

If you were to walk away,
Forever here I would stay,
Feeding off my jealously,
You were my Acid Queen,
Of all the things I have said,
Only a few I have meant,

It's a never ending dream,
But to me it's everything,
Skin beautifully scarred,
With a heart so charred,
If to you my heart is lent,
I will never love again,

Was that a glimpse of your soul?
Or a drop of alcohol?
Sticks and stones break my bones,
Your words killed me long ago,
If to you my heart is lent,
I will never love again,
