A Time In My Life

I'm going through a time in my life
That I don't understand.
Will you give me a hand?
I've already been through the “Why am I here?”
That question gets old
For no answers unfold.
I get to thinking I really don't care,
As I didn't ask
To be given this task.
The question becomes “What do I do?”
And I do it alone
Being so prone
To all my fantasies, my passions.
Does this seem so wrong,
As I drift along
This existence that is so unrequested?
I am who I am, see?
How else should I be
Moving through this time in my life?
