A Grandmothers Love
I sit here today in such a wonderful place
a feeling of peace that brought a smile to my face
My children have always loved it here
theres someone special they love to be near
She continues to love them and be their friend
just the same as her grandmother did
She will fill them with laughter and smiles for many years
she will always be there to wipe away their tears
Shes always been there in a time of need
helping make sure that they will succeed
This woman I talk about is my dear mother
to my children she is their grandmother
For shes not just your typical grandmother at all
shes always there ready to catch you if you fall
A grandmothers love you can fill in your heart
no matter where you are together or apart
She will tell you many stories as the years go by
and leave you with no questions or wandering why
A grandmothers love is true to the end
because no matter what they will always be your best friend
If ever in doubt of what to do each day
just ask any grandmother, she will know what to say
For a grandmothers heart is made of gold
always there to protect and guide you out of the cold
If ever a time you feel like you cant cope
Grandmothers are there feeling you with hope
The feeling of hope for a new tomorrow
always making sure she takes away all your sorrow
I will cherish every moment I have with my mother
the love that she gives is one like no other
Take it from me I will say it time and time again
shes not just my mother..shes my childrens best friend!!
