A girl child

A GIRL CHILD
A time girl revered as being a divine goddess,
Hence has now become a trending issue.
The well known idol of serenity and peace,
Now cease to exist as grievous creature.
Her magnificence is now bounded to the four walls of her house,
Now is a mere encumbrance.
Denoting girl a burden, parents prefer sons;
It's with all not by some.
The child does everything to prove herself,
But the society never permits gaining the position she deserves.
Does everyone think a girl child-sin or what,
this time was to come, had anyone thought??
This time was to come………
This time was to come……… - Lakshay
