A Future Thought

Watched you from a distance
I just stared
You're driving me crazy
As I just sat in despair

Didn't bother to smile
Or wave back

No hi
No bye
I think it's over now
Couldn't handle it anymore
Row after row

You and me?
A distant memory
You have someone better now
Oh how I envy

This hasn't happened yet
It's a thought of the future
Hope it never happens
Don't think I could handle it
So hoping for the best
Trying not to think about it
