A battle I can not win

I sit here crying how can this be
how can I still love an man
that dose not want me

how could I be so blind
how could I be so dumb
how could I fall for a man
that could not give me love

I gave him my time
I gave him my heart
yet he stole my soul
and I can never return
for it is with him it belongs

I'm trying to move on
I'm trying to forget this game
but all our memories keep
running within my mind

I'm fighting a battle I can not win
if only he would open his heart and look within
