You were there

I sit alone with my eyes closed, my head tilted up bathing in the warm  sun, as I sit there I can feel the crisp and cool wind as it hits my face. I think about everything while hearing the soft crys of a broken soul and seeing the memories play back in the forms of shadows.
Even through the pain, through the sorrow.... I can see one thing is so true.....
You were there.
Broken heart, shatter trust, rivers of tears, and sleepless nights.....
You were there.
Giving me hope, lending me strength, showing me trust, and sharing smiles all to ease the pain....
You were there.
As the sorrow faded, and the ghost of broken promises disappeared....
You were still there.
A new feeling fills my heart, wondering if this is a dream.... As no words can explain how much things changed.... But I know of one thing..... I'm glad...
You were there.......
And now I can say.....
