Like a Pair of Wings That Settle After Flying

Today's clouds give everything
after two rainy days then rest
where we walk panting
on the land flooded by mud
when along the lake
silent and separate.

A pair of teches came over to the shadow
as if weighed on myself in turbid water
from the head to the body until the footsteps
like a boat that drove in bad weather
force acting polite in the direction
and creeping together calculate how many pieces of salty are attached.

On a pair of butterflies that are married
i asked: "how to continue steps through afternoon light"
while our hands are being contained in distance
fold each other's fingers on the other
like a pair of wings that settle after flying
and vanished on this deposit fold
then death without a name.
