Why

There ae days
that you don't know what to do
smiles and laughter
are far and few

Is there really a point
to all of this
or is reality
just amiss

Days get harder
as they pass
do you stand up
or have peace alas

Nobody notices
the pain you in
or they ignore it
and expect you to grin

Why is there not
one person to care
to help lessen the load
you always bare

Is it because
it is not them
and you are nothing more
than a broken stem

Does anyone
truly care
if you were
never to be there

If you know the answer
please do tell
many people have
fallen deep into the well

Some will never
get out
because that's
what it seems to be about.
