Mothers and Daughters

Mothers are to daughters like a seed is to a rose
The seeds are planted, then your stem grows and grows
You grow to be a precious flower and gorgeous as a rose
You have been specially made to the tip of your nose
While a rose and a baby may be delicate at first
They become stronger and taller each time they thirst
Then the bud begins to bloom and open wide
Two beautiful daughters have grown right by my side
God created you both, so refuse to wilt
Let nothing tear down what God has built
You are stronger than anything that comes in your life
You are my flower, you are the love of my life
My heart is full but I am proud of the way your rose has bloomed
Know that my garden will always have more room
