For No One

Gerald Murray 1972 (Cape Town)

For No ONE
                                      BY : GERALDWILLIAMS
The future wait for no one
In an instant it’s all gone
 Your todays and yesterdays
Feels like time had no say
For a moment it  so unreal
Doesn’t even matter how you feel
Dreams that I would be
The   greatest in history
All gone my laughter and my song
What have I become
Must I stay or should I run
Run as far as I can
Who will ever understand?
All the pain that I endure
From the past I needed a cure
Today here I stand with faith
 A family man
Thank you Lord for my past
And my future, shown me how to last.
