A case for therapy
A CASE FOR THERAPY
I was a late developer
Well that’s what people said
Rather shy with ladies
My cheeks would oft turn red.
When I was with a pretty girl
I couldn’t get my words out
Although I loved them from afar
I never took the birds out.
They sent me to a therapist
Her name was Mrs Pugh
She lived up in a council house
Quite near the Maes-y-Rhiw.
She let me in the hallway
And took my coat and hat
Then locked the door behind me
After putting out her cat.
She served me tea and biscuits
To put me at my ease
Then gently eased my trousers off
So she could see my knees.
At first she stroked my ankles
Then worked up to my thighs
Observing my reactions
With her gaze into my eyes.
To say I was excited
Would be putting it too mild
My body was in ecstasy
My thoughts were running wild.
I’ll skip the next caresses
Some things should not be said
But she dragged me up the staircase
And laid me in her bed.
She cleared all the areas
Where doubts had always lurked
By noon I was exhausted
But her therapy had worked.
My mind completely free of doubt
No crevices or rifts
Prepared to take a lady out
And savour nature’s gifts.
So if you have this problem
You now know what to do
Yes – I was a VERY late developer
I was nearly forty-two.
