Reclaimed
Never giving it all
Never losing it all
Sound wisdom
From the voices of drought
Emptying my heart
A soul never to part
With promises
Vain wishes in spades
But giving it all
New rain started to fall
My eyes opening up
From inside
As the curtain pulled back
On those dreams neatly stacked
And my will then my spirit,
—reclaimed
