The Olde Barn Part Two - Conclusion.
The Olde Barn Part Two/Conclusion:
On my wires, I sense the fires,
as Saint Elmo's currents creep.
Unlike a ship,
I have no hull, nor sails,
to plow the briny deep,
Quite as strong, quite as tall,
as ever a schooner sent
to sail the world so round.
How sad for ME,
No ports I'll see
I'm fastened to the ground.
For if a ship upon the Rocks,
a gale should blow and Toss,
No more a proud ship she' be,
She'd become a total Loss.
The storm raged on all night,
We thought it would never end.
For Me and those within my walls, '
'twas a terrible time to spend.
Then toward noon the next day-on,
the storm itself . . . . . . . 'OUTBLEW'!
WE WERE REALLY GLAD IT WAS OVER;
JUST 'TWEEN ME AND YOU':
