memories

how wonderful it would be
to know what we could truly be;

if within a world of  thoughtless minds
I could find my own; just mine.

The sky below would mean much more,
in mindless winds I’d glide then soar;

with eyes closed tightly would still see,
gold rays of sun that set us free;

for day nor night can ever bring,
hearts within sweet voices sing;

Softly in silence moist red lips smile,
in darkened shadows we pause a while;

until time returns to begin at last,
n' now replaces our forgotten past.
