Old cotton

Valiantstar 1961 (Sydney)

I love my old rags

T shirts, jeans,

Anything cotton

Light as the breeze...

After untold washes

Softness evolves

I like them clean.

Not on the nose.

They give me status

I am not proud...

Enjoy the comfort

And their strangely loud...

If I am wealthy

Who would know?

When I wear old cotton

It gives me a glow.
