My Worn-Out Soul

My soul feels tossed and sometimes lost
When someone says I need  
To only trust their words and must
Not question where they lead.

My soul will cry whenever I
Feel no one cares about
The things I want and said upfront,
Their honesty in doubt.

I've said all this, still some dismiss
My words as not enough.
And so, I say, "You think I play.
But it's not 'off the cuff"'!
