Sunflower

Roots from a bud which blooms,
inside of aethereal hands.

A world found filled with darkness,
brighter than the light of lost lands.

The source of our anointed ancestors
who offer bandages for wounds that fester.

With no more cries of pain, however,
and the sound of silence sequestered.
