A burden of a mother
I know what's its like to be a mother on her own
Betrayed by them all, left feeling all alone
Lost in the game, struggling just to survive
But she keeps fighting, trying to keep her dreams alive
Lost in the system, no one to hold her hand
Baby's in the foster care, it's hard to understand
Mama tried her best, but life ain't always fair
Caught up in the cycle, trapped in deep despair
She's got dreams and ambitions, but they push 'em all aside
The system's against her, but she won't let it ride
Every day's a battle, but she's a warrior
Through the heartbreak and tears, she's gettin' stronger for sure
She won't let the system define who she can be
Gonna rise above it all, just wait and see
Lost in the system, no one to hold her hand
Baby's in the foster care, it's hard to understand
But she won't quit, she's pushin' through the pain
Gotta find a way, break free from these chains
She's a fighter, nothin' else could describe
Every setback she faces, she'll conquer and survive
Through the tears and the heartache, she remains so strong
Standing tall, proving them all wrong
She's a warrior queen, nothin' can bring her down
She'll rise above the struggles, turn her life around
Piece by piece, she'll build that foundation
A mother's love and dedication, no need for explanation
Lost in the system, no one to hold her hand
Baby's in the foster care, it's hard to understand
But she won't quit, she's pushin' through the pain
Gotta find a way, break free from these chains
Yeah, to all the mothers out there facing these battles
Stay strong, never let 'em rattle your spirit
Keep fightin', keep pushin', you'll overcome
Never give up, 'cause your day will come
