Mood Swing

Orange, Yellow, and Pink
Radiating the horizon
Scenery in Ink
Watching the sun rising

Peaking under the bar
Then falling.
Descending far.
and farther

The vibrant colors not visible
and my shoes hitting the ground with a thud
Life's movements unpredictable
Waiting patiently to be lifted out of the mud.

After limbo is peace
Entering out of damnation
Thrown into benediction
of temporary release.
