Sunflower

Roots from a bud which blooms,
inside of aethereal hands.

A world found filled with darkness,
brighter than the light of lost lands.

The source of our anointed ancestors
who offer bandages for wounds that fester.

With no more cries of pain, however,
and the sound of silence sequestered.

The court required a jester
to quench the bloodthirst of the Emperor.

Wouldn’t it be something IF the jester knows something that his poor emperor only wishes he might know???The poor jester tries to make the sad emperor laugh while he himself is laughing inside at the rich emperor who can not buy that which the jester possesses…What might that be???Only the jester can answer that one….
