UNMOVED

Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)

UNMOVED

Who stands when fires flare?
In the winds of the storms rage?
Who stands and shouts his prayer,
Defying the powers of our age?
Stand when the world says fall
And God will heed your call

Who will make the giants shake?
Tells mountains to moan and quiver?
In faith all enemies we can take
Grace connects is to life's giver
Stand, and the enemy will flee
For His children,  indeed are free

The weak are made strong!
The last is now made first!
The wise proved wrong!
The blessing overcame the curse!
Stand on God's word unmoved
His righteousness is eternally proved

Trials come, testing Grows
Yet faith still stands firm
Grace proves God knows
Blessings flow in turn
Stand on promises He made
The victory will never fade
Amen

About this poem

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15 58
