WOMAN DRESS IN BLACK

Press and squeeze
black I see
dark shades
not to open
the shadows of light!

Who drown to dress?
The woman in distress!

Keep me blind
do not want to unwind
why do you rush
to flush
to dismiss the darkness
to take my dress of words
to a drying plague
to hear the echoes of afflictions
that remain to be left unchanged
for the woman dress in black!

About this poem

In my twenties and thirties I wore black all the time. Bullies would insist I was evil. Little did they know I was happy authentic and felt draw to every eye. This poem is about my thoughts in the human behavior!
