Nothing

The clouds cover the sunshine
Heavy droplets start to fall
I once heard feeling something
Is better than nothing at all

But if the rain hit your skin
The way that it hits mine
You too would wish for numbness
Feeling nothing would be fine

I never liked the taste of wine
No rum or whiskey, not for me
But I heard that it might help
And I’m desperate to feel free

A headache is not a headache
Paper-cuts are never small
I feel the feels I feel so much
I'd rather feel nothing at all
