Madness

In streets, I wander alone,
With a heart, turned to stone.

You are now a distant memory,
Nothing but, a cruel, bitter tragedy.

Love, a whisper of despair,
An extra weight, I can't bear.

Dreams could never remain,
Just shatter, nothing to gain.

Absence; void, engulfs my soul,
Loneliness, consuming me whole.

In search of solace, in deep pain,
There's darkness, driving me insane.

I want to vanish into the night,
Not to observe the day's light.

I stand on the edge,
Ready to embrace the ledge.

I'm saying my last words to the air,
They may reach you, there.

For I am going to end,
My story, my legend.
