The Sheep Warrior

I am a sheep and have no form of natural defense.

I have no horns, no claws, no thick outer exterior, and my eyes have very little if any depth perception as I struggle with seeing the details.

I am slow.

Not sure footed.

Scared of my own shadow.

Easily distracted.

Stubborn, self-centered, and self-absorbed.

Hear my war cry: “Baaaaahhhhhhh”

My purpose in life is twofold and that is to be shaved or served.

I have the comfort of the sheepfold but yet, my only defense is found in the Shepherd.

My security, my strength, and my salvation are all found only in the strength of the Shepherd’s Hand.

My whole salvation rest in the strength and the ability of Shepherd to hold me in His Hands.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. John 10:27-29
