Duality

Love without obsession is futile
But would it be considered love or lust
Love would have an early death without trust
And trust would have to be earned for a long lasting love

Most people are scared to love
Because most people are scared to trust

What could you say to make me stay
Could you guide my hand and show me the way
Down the path that I believe to be true
Towards a love that always feels new

And with you by my side I won’t ever have to hide
As we learn to love and trust, side by side
