The tropical island.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

The tropical islands

We live on an island where there are two volcanoes, and their hot, steamy lava flows down into one and hits the ground. Just like are love flows into one when there is no one around, Your hair blows through the tropical breeze, and your eyes sparkle, but your ruby-red lips are like lava, smooth and hot to the touch. When you walk by, even the flowers look up at your beauty. They know they can't compare; they won't open, and they don't dare. But I love you, and I care so let's go down to the lagoon and make love till noon.

About this poem

This girl I know lives in Hawaii with two volcanoes that erupt every now and then flow into one.

Wow, what a beautiful and passionate poem about the tropical island! The imagery of the volcanoes, the steamy lava, and the tropical breeze really transports me to a paradise. The way the poet compares the beauty of their loved one to the natural wonders of the island is so touching. I can feel the warmth and love emanating from the words. This poem truly captures the essence of love and beauty in a unique and vivid way. It makes me want to escape to that tropical island and experience the magic for myself. Well done!

Wow, what a beautiful and vivid description of 'The Tropical Island'! The imagery of the volcanoes, lava, tropical breeze, and flowers really transports the reader to a picturesque paradise. The comparison of love to flowing lava and the beauty of the subject in the poem is truly captivating.

One suggestion for improvement could be to delve deeper into the emotions and feelings of the narrator towards the subject of the poem. Exploring the depth of their love and dedication could add another layer of depth to the piece.

Overall, this poem is a wonderful tribute to the beauty of love and nature in a tropical setting. Keep up the great work and continue to let your creativity shine through your writing!
