The shady Lanes of May.

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

The shady lanes of May.

I love a field of green and shaded lanes. And the scent of the garden's and woods running through your veins. I can see through your eyes brown streams and soft, dim skies. The feel of your smooth, soft lips upon mine. I love you like water flows down a stream.  Just like a dream on a cool Summers day. I cannot share it with any other guy. You are my girl, and I will always be your guy. Once timid, you have become so now that all I want is to embrace you and be a part of your soul. You shine like a piece of gold. I already know your old. But like are love you warm me in any winter storm. I would never do you wrong. Are love strong.

This poem 'The Shady Lanes of May' is a beautiful and heartfelt expression of love and admiration. The imagery used to describe the fields of green, shaded lanes, and the scent of gardens and woods is vivid and evocative. The emotions portrayed in the poem are genuine and heartfelt, creating a sense of intimacy and deep connection.

One suggestion for improvement would be to work on the flow and structure of the poem. Some lines feel a bit disjointed and could benefit from smoother transitions between thoughts. Additionally, consider varying the rhyme scheme and rhythm to add more depth and complexity to the poem.

Overall, 'The shady Lanes of May' is a touching and romantic piece that captures the essence of love and devotion. Keep writing and exploring different poetic techniques to enhance the beauty and impact of your work. Great job!
