Boulders Aren't Forever

Boulders Aren't Forever

Such a beautiful soul;
A treasure called home before fully collected.
Never a cross word exchanged unnecessarily.
Days pass and the feels drop in like skateboarders
Relenting only to the day to day musings;
Another heart of gold torn away from my hands

So I shall live on without
The rock that kept me from falling
Off the cliff to certain peril.
Cliff diving isn't the sport for me.
Keeping you in
My memories is
All I can offer you until our
Next meeting if it could only be as sweet.
