Authenticity of the Soul

Can you look way deep into my eyes?
Are they full of sorrow or human flaws?
My heart wide open, cannot tell a lie.
Emotions splattered vulnerable and raw.
I like this place naked I fly.
Be at peace little darling find your "awe."

About this poem

Not being afraid to expose one's true, authentic self; allowing oneself to be vulnerable which takes courage. There is nothing to hide, cast aside our "masks" and reveal ourselves, naked and raw. Let us give ourselves the grace of our own humanity.
